Justin, Sarah, his finance', Joe and I all went to New York City May 1-5. We took in an Angels vs Yankee Baseball Game in their new stadium. Awesome story....we went to the stadium to buy tickets and the lowest ticket was $60.00 each with a particle view, so we decided to pass. Then as we were walking around taking pictures, a young couple from CA had 2 seats they were giving away. Seems some friends of theirs in NY had better seats and they were going to join them and didn't need the two tickets they had purchased. They were excited to give the tickets to Justin and Sarah who are also Angels Fans. The kids enjoyed the game and received a free hat. In the 7th inning an Yankees Ambassador who had spoken to us several times and knew the story behind the kids getting into the game, came over to us and told us he had 2 tickets we could have. The tickets belonged to two woman who were only going to the game to get the free hats, so we got in and gave the ladies the free hats. Turns out the Yankees Ambassador was able to get us free hats too! So we enjoyed a baseball game and received hats all for FREE! Now how often does that happen and in New York?!?!? We also enjoyed dinner and a Frozen Hot Chocolate at Karen's favorite place...Serendipity's! If you haven't had one, get one! It rained most of the time but it didn't dampen our spirits, we had a great time!
